The bathrooms in China are a real trip. Some are just holes in the ground. Some are very nice ceramic tiles that are kept nice and clean. Most are while porcelain and most need cleaning much more than they are. At the school, as in most places, you always needed your own toilet paper. The toilet paper does not go in the toilet but in the garbage close by. Most bathrooms, especially the public ones, did not have soap and several places they did not have water. We always made sure we had toilet paper, wipes, and disinfectant. The school did have water but no soap for public use. They were not cleaned while I was there for the two weeks.
